It's actually really good. This is 19th century era of medicine. All the medical malpractice, evolution, hygiene, etc...

-Art is great, good use of color and faces are well drawn.
-Magic battles are cool, with intense fights and colorful moves.
-Sidekicks are entertaining, if not very wise compared to the MC.
-The MC is fairly realistic, with his pragmatic view of how to save the world through sacrifices, but he softens after a while which I disliked.
-The plot faded to your average mage school drama. Some people like that, but I don't. Perhaps I just crave bloodshed, and lack patience, but the magic school arc grew boring. I'll come back when I'm alright with waiting awhile for more intrigue.
